We know cost is a huge factor when deciding if Invisalign is right for you. Prices can range from $1900 for minor tooth corrections to $6000 or more for complicated cases, and we follow the Ontario Dental Association Fee Guide. The next step is for Dr. Paparisto to scan your teeth. The digital scan is entirely painless and non-invasive. The digital scanner takes thousands of images per second. The result is a high-resolution 3-D digital model of your mouth.
We can create a 3-D image of your teeth in just a few minutes. The model enables Dr. Paparisto to examine your teeth and jaws in detail, identifying issues that need improvement—for example, problems with your bite or how your teeth are aligned.
Invisalign software is used to create your custom treatment plan. The software results from years of research and development and includes sophisticated algorithms to help plan your treatment accurately. Dr. Paparisto will design your plan, moving each tooth into the correct position at the proper time.
Many of our patients find this part extremely exciting, as it is when you get to preview your new smile. The software creates digital images showing how your teeth will look once they are correctly aligned at the end of treatment.
At this point, you can decide if you will be happy with the results or want to make any small changes. It’s your opportunity to get involved with the planning process and to ensure you will feel entirely satisfied with the predicted outcome.
We find previewing these images with our patients extremely useful as a decision-making tool. Often, people are unsure if treatment will provide the results they desire.
